December Ramblings

Harvest is all but home as I write these words in the early days of December, with mixed results and some concerns about the price currently offered for the stored grains, hopefully the market will come good for all concerned.

Our new headers which we installed pre-season all seemed to have performed within the expectations of the new owners, teething troubles have been restricted to minor items none of which were detrimental to the operation of the machines.

Now in this post season lull we are beginning the process of meeting the customers to learn more about the experiences and knowledge built up in the short and sharp season that we have just encountered, lesson’s learnt and passed through to Case IH will be looked at with a view to coming seasons improvement programmes.

The sale of used headers has also been a very positive sign of a season which meant people not willing to risk waiting, our stock levels are at an all time low which is good in most respects.

2010 – A flurry of pricing activities have announced that we are ready to begin the process again for deliveries in 2010 – so if you want to know more about the Red headers then call your local Cornish’s branch today.

Stocks are limited and we will book a unit based on first come first served basis, deposits are being taken now, so don’t delay call today.

You know it makes sense. Don’t be green, see Red campaign still in full swing for Dec 09.

Our Pre Season programme has once again been regaled as a success, thanks to our dedicated team in Narromine and Parkes in particular for a deter-minded effort to ensure a record amount of Case IH Axial Flow pre-seasons were completed ahead of the season; once again I would remind you to make your booking now to ensure your machine is completely assessed and a detailed report prepared for your consideration.

December will be a busy month for us, with the Investment Allowance ending on the 31st Dec you need to be looking at your needs to ensure all relevant paperwork can be completed on time, and with some extra incentives in place from many of our major suppliers there has never been a better time to call and see what we can do together.

With 2010 fast approaching it is time to review and look ahead at what we need to consider for the New Year; we will be working closely with our Guidance & GPS suppliers during late 09 in a training and information school for key staff throughout the region.

The main aim being to be able to support customers in the field to a level which is beyond the customers expectations. Steering and VR is already a hot topic, mapping and next generation prescription will present you with a more effective solution to cost savings – we are ready to talk to you – regardless of colour.

Register now for Cornish’s Red Club and a Xmas voucher could ‘wing’ its way to you – this is to allow us to begin developing a system of communicating with you on any special deals we have coming up, and to send newsletters and used sales information, paperless society, well that would be an ideal but maybe not so practical – yet.

This is a show of the screen you will find by clicking on the Red Club icon within our home page, click today and fill in your details and we will get the Elves to send you some Xmas cheer.
